Since the early 1960s, Herkula has been supplying inks and varnishes for decorative printing on plastic parts (table edgings, skirting boards, panels etc.) such as imitation wood and marble effects. In cooperation with our customers, Herkula has continuously developed and improved our products over the past decades. In the RotoDecor product line, Herkula offers both solvent-based and UV curing inks and varnishes. Upon request, our laboratory also develops customized solutions for individual requirements.
We offer different ink series for printing the decor on plastic parts. These inks can be used, for example, to print wood imitations and marble decors. The inks are available both solvent-based and UV curing. The inks are suitable for printing on hard PVC and ABS without further surface pretreatment. For other substrates, pretreatment may be necessary.

Depending on your requirements, physically drying and UV curing inks are not sufficiently resistant to scratches, marks or household chemicals. To improve these properties, Herkula UV curing protective coatings are applied. This coating is available in various gloss levels. UV curing inks can also be used without a protective clear coating, depending on your requirements.
